The P. formosa is the most interesting of the Poecilotheria species with its unusually uniform banded pattern. There’s very little asymmetrical here, which is an anomaly and a half for a Pokie species. The banding descends on down the legs in the dark/light alternate, the abdominal zigzag pattern is even, and the purple wash is perfectly measured. Max size is 6″ and temps should be 74-85 with a humidity of 70% with excellent ventilation. They are quite snippy, even by Pokie standards, so don’t try to handle them.
