This smaller species of Psalmopoeus only getting to 4.5″, enhances any arboreal collection with its feisty demeanor. They have a subtle golden-brown leg coloration, reddish abdomen, gold femurs and carapace, and the interesting orange bristles around the chelicerae. I’ve always had a soft spot for this species, even if they have a soft spot for none. Yup, they will bite. They’re simple with regards to requirements; 72-84 and humidity 0f 70%, but ensure they’re kept in a vertical enclosure.
