Centruroides sculpturatus-AZ Bark Scorpion (Gertschi morph)

Here we have a gorgeous, easy to keep and communal scorpion. What’s not to like you ask? They have a heavy sting. It’s not life-threatening (at least not since 1968) but feels like a hammer smashed your finger and lasts an entire day. And given their abilities to make ladders, a secure fitting lid is in order. They will readily breed in captivity and temps of 72-82 with humidity present on half of the enclosure while maintaining the other side dry. Be sure to offer multiple hides if you’re keeping more than 6 together.

Picture soon to come.
