This new species fell out of the trees and in to our enclosures only within the last few years. They’re like little bumblebees as wee lads and lasses, and as adults they have a maroon abdomen, golden carapace, while the legs are almost a silver color. Not too shabby. They’re just as spazzy as T. gigas, so be careful when you open the enclosure. They’re also of the same temperament, so don’t muck with them too much. Similar humidity and temps as T. gigas will be fine.
