This species is another that I haven’t seen in quite a spell; wish I could have nabbed more than this one specimen. Believe me, if more were available, I’d have them. Gorgeous black, reddish abdomen, with pink swooshes on the tarsi. They attain a very respectable 7″+ as adults, with males going completely yellow/gold with black tarsi. S. melanotarsum are also quite aggressive to the point of -almost- being naaaassssty. Temps of 76-85 with humidity of at least 75% suit them.
