Poecilotheria metallica-Gooty Sapphire 1.5″

There have been new species discovered that cause keepers to swoon, but I challenge anyone to debate just how spectacular P. metallica remains, all these years later. And a big thank you goes to Kelly Swift for initially reproducing them in the States way back when. Yes, he and I are geezers to many young keepers. Back to the particulars. Gorgeous, sexy, even living art describes how amazing the blue sapphire, black, white and yellow join together to create tarantula bliss. Even the males don’t lose their colors. Of the Poecilotheria, they are the most docile Pokie second to P. miranda, but they are still Poecilotheria, and still have Poecilotheria venom. It’s among the strongest of all T venom, so while you might get away with it, it will be dreadful if you don’t. DO NOT HANDLE. Keep them between 72-84 with humidity of 70% and of course an arboreal set-up is best for them.
