Lampropelma nigerrimum-Sangihe Black 1.5-1.75″

Oh my, this black and purple enigma is both beauty and the beast. You get that rich black body with purple carapace that is attached to a fearsome heavily bodied arboreal bruiser. Their speed is also frightening, and while at home in the tree hollows, they are just as comfortable and quick on the ground. Their bite is reportedly less than a good time, so why keep them at all you venture? Because, like a good horror flick, you can’t stop watching. They’re fairly easy to keep, but need the high humidity of at least 75% and temps of 75-82.
