This is an exciting new entry to the hobby, as it seems SE Asia has become the hotbed for new Chilobrachys, Orinthoctonus, and other fantastic genera. Adults are a typical Chilobrachys size of 4.5-5″ and are a blue was overall with faint leg striping, a brown abdomen, and an olive carapace. While not overly defensive, they will still let you know they don’t care for your intrusion, so do not futz. They are easy to keep, at temps of 76-82 and humidity of 70%. They require either a hide or enough substrate to burrow.
